Biography

Lucy began her career in Mayfair working for various Chartered Surveyors before joining AK Design in October 2008 as a PA/Office Manager.

 

Lucy worked closely alongside the Founding Partners adapting to the different needs of the Practice by supporting staff and covering all administrative duties as well as managing the office.

 

As her role progressed Lucy was tasked with taking on the Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems, and started to work closely with the Accounts Manager.

 

In 2019 when the Founding Partners stepped down and David and Thomas became the new Partners of AK Design, Lucy stepped up and took on the role of Accounts/Office Manager.  She now handles the financial matters of the Practice such as Client billing, accounts payable, payroll and banking.  She also provides support to the Partners with regards to Human Resources.

 

Lucy approaches all aspects of any job with a positive, hard-working mindset, and is passionate about helping find solutions to any challenges.  Her long and continued service at AK Design provides her with an extensive knowledge across all departments and combined with her versatility Lucy is an integral member of the team.
